Coventry City home football shirt 1999/00
Player: #7 Robbie Keane
Comments: One of the most travelled strikers of the modern era. Robbie Keane, the Irish talisman, averaged almost a goal every other game through his illustrious career.
Coventry City signed Keane from second-tier Wolves for a record fee for a teenager at the time of £6 million. Alongside Mustapha Hadgi and Youssef Chippo, Keane scored 12 Premier League goals and was the club's top scorer in his lone season for the Sky Blues. Keane caught the eye of Marcelo Lippi, manager of Inter Milan, and he got a dream move to the Serie A. The rest is history.
There is slight darkening and small marks to the raised felt sponsor and print as expected with age. There are minor, odd bobbles but they take nothing away from the class of the shirt. The size label states 46-48".
